English is used on this website as one of the official International Civil Aviation Organisation languages. Would you need a translation, please contact us on ops@airsafe.be . Training languages include French, Dutch and English.

Founder

VH Air bvba was founded in 2012 by Marc Vanhentenryck and renamed AirSafe bv in 2023.
Marc Vanhentenryck has an exclusivity agreement with VH Air bvba / AirSafe bv. Marc Vanhentenryck never flies/consults for his own account.

Cancelations

Regarding non-weather related cancelations, our clients will cancel their missions by sending a mail to ops@airsafe.be at least 7 working days in advance. By doing so half of the fee will be due, inside this period the whole fee will be due.

Payments

Our clients will pay our AirSafe bv invoices within 30 calendar days. Contact us at ops@airsafe.be in case of doubt or if you cannot meet this deadline and we will find a solution for you.

Insurance 

Airsafe bv / Marc Vanhentenryck contracted the following insurances: Civil Liability instructor / examiner, Legal Counsel instructor / examiner, Aviation Personal Accident, Repatriation.
On request by mail at ops@airsafe.be we will provide you with a copy of these contracts.

Our clients commit themselves to insure the aircraft used: in Civil Liability with themselves and Marc Vanhentenryck as approved pilots, with a pilot’s personal injury insurance, in Hull insurance for the actual worth of the aircraft, with AirSafe bv / Marc Vanhentenryck as pilot, safety-pilot, instructor and examiner as additional insured. Should one of these requirements not be fulfilled, our clients will notify us by sending us a mail to ops@airsafe.be at least 72 hours prior to the mission.

Liability

Should a flight test be refused by an authority, the examiner’s fee will not be due. The cost for the training cannot be claimed to AirSafe bv / Marc Vanhentenryck.
AirSafe bv / Marc Vanhentenryck cannot be held responsible for physical injuries or material damage.

In the case of dispute, the Court of Leuven (BE) will rule under Belgian Law.
